Little Miss Turns 4

We had to take some pictures on the last night she would be 3...and you can see with the squinty eyes and double hands that she might be a little excited about turning the big 0-4.

Sunday she was pretty pumped about wearing her Four shirt and the ribbon Grandma sent her last year. Since we were headed to church, she was more than excited to show everyone that she was the birthday girl!

We opened presents after lunch (we made her wait until after we ALL ate...we are so mean) and next year, I'm going for the cheapest gift and that's it...because this $3 set of watercolors was the biggest hit.

Making her cake was the easiest since she just wanted sprinkles!!  (1st birthday, I made a pink elephant, 2nd was Elmo cupcakes and 3rd, Dora cupcakes)

Sunday evening we had a family party with the cousins.  I stole a few ideas from Katie, and we did Pin the Bow on Hello Kitty, played Thomas the Train scavenger hunt, and bean bag toss into Tinkerbell baskets.  Simple and fun.

There might have been a little cheating with how perfectly they put the bows on!  Maybe we should have spinned them some more...

More, wonderful presents!!

And time to eat cake.

Happy birthday, my sweet Haylie!!
